Welcome to VW Update dot com! This is a source of information for owners of all late model Volkswagens. Currently, we specialize in only the New Beetle and the EuroVan.  Owners of other models are welcome to file repair histories with us and this will serve as encouragement to feature these models as well.

This effort started with owners of VW EuroVans filling out repair history questionnaires.  This allowed us to identify trouble spots and report on them in a quarterly newsletter.  The Newsletter, EuroVan Update, proved to be such a success that we started New Beetle Update.  Since the Jetta, Golf, and Passat share engines and numerous parts with the EuroVan and the New Beetle, we anticipate publishing a generic newsletter in the next year.  Please go to the feedback area if you would like to be notified when this newsletter is ready.

All VW owners are encouraged to fill out a service history questionnaire.  It will cost you nothing to file the report, and as a reward for doing so, it will entitle you to a free compilation of the results when they are available.  Please note that our subscriptions are not free.  This is a "for profit" endeavor and authors of articles are "paid" with free issues of the newsletter.

Our company: HP products was founded in 1975 as a small home-based business serving the needs of radiation protection professionals known as Health Physicists.  In December 1995, a newsletter for owners of VW EuroVans was added to the offerings.  In 2006, we transitioned to a new business name, Vee Dub Motors, which is now used as the business name.
