Notes on car:  This car is fresh off of lease by a national company. The car was originally gray and received a total repaint to meet the company’s color specification for yellow. It turned out that the yellow is almost the same as the VW yellow for that year. Although the paint job was professionally done, it did not include repainting the door jambs. However, the durability of the paint job is excellent as evidenced by how well it has held up in the two years of use. In addition, the company name in vinyl lettering was removed from the rear hatch without any damage to the finish. Of course, the total repaint lowered the value of the car and this savings is being passed on.

The car was found to be in good shape mechanically. The front brake pads and rotors are like new. The rear brake pads are at 75%. New tires had already installed and there is a full size spare tire in good condition. We performed the 60,000 mile service. In addition, new NGK Laser Platinum Spark Plugs were installed, as there was evidence that the plugs had not been replaced at 40,000 miles. A new cabin air filter was also installed.

The interior shows some stains on the seats and two of the removable carpet mats have a non-removable substance on them. All were thoroughly cleaned leaving the interior in good condition. The rear cup-holder is broken and the 12V outlet compartment at the rear of the center console stays out and cannot be secured. (This is a common failure item on this model.) Everything else seems to be in good working order. The car is only two years old and shows no evidence of abuse. It is missing the hinged rear luggage cover at this time.
